Delete your account
Last updated 25 July 2026
You can delete your RTRO account and everything attached to it. There’s no penalty and we don’t ask why.
How to ask
Email privacy@rtro.im from the address on your account with the subject Delete my account. If you can’t email from that address — for example you signed in with Apple and used a private relay address — say so and include your handle so we can find you.
We’ll confirm once it’s done. Expect this within 30 days, usually much sooner.
What gets deleted
- Your sign-in credentials and email address.
- Your name, handle and avatar image.
- Your play history, favourites, playlists and backlog.
- Your save states, including console memory-card data.
- Your session records.
What we may keep, and why
We may retain a minimal record of a deletion request itself, so we can show we honoured it, and any records we’re legally required to hold. Operational logs and audio diagnostics aren’t tied to a public profile and age out on their own.
Deleting your account can’t be undone — your saves go with it. If you only want to clear a save or a playlist, you can do that in the app without deleting anything else.
